To use Facebook dating, you have to set up your profile. You can activate or access Facebook dating with an Android or IOS device following these steps;
- Open the Facebook app on your device
- Log into your account if you are not logged in already
- Click the menu button at the top right side of the page
- Select “See more”
- Click “Dating” and tap “Get Started”
- Follow the instructions to set up your profile.
- You can edit your profile which has been set up from your Facebook profile
- After editing, click “Confirm”
How to Use Facebook Dating
After you are done setting up your Facebook Dating profile, you can always go back to your dating account. From the Facebook dating home page, you can check who liked your profile, your matches, your secret crush, and others.
To customize your profile;
- Open the Facebook app on your device
- Log into your account if you are not logged in already
- Click the menu button at the top right side of the page
- Select “See more”
- Click “Dating”
- Select “Profile”
- You can now add or remove photos, add your hobbies and interests and also add an introductory text
Some features of the Facebook dating are discussed below;
- Liked you: from the Dating home page, you will see the “Liked you” option at the top side of the page. If you click this button, you would see those that liked your profile and you can also like them or dismiss them too. If you both liked each other’s profile then the person ends up in the Matches section
- Matches: If both persons liked each other, the other person will appear at the top of the page. You can now tap on the person’s photo to begin a conversation.
